Finished up on the Moebius (1/160 - 1/144) Orion III Space Clipper from 2001: A Space Odyssey last week for a friend and did final photography.

Fit was okay but not great, required a bit of filling. Primed in Ultimate Primer, base coated in Mr Hobby Mr Color GX1. Decals were tricky and silvered a bit, sealed with Windsor & Newton Satin UV Varnish. Overall I'm happy and my friend is delighted. :hi:

Work on the wingnut 1/32 brandenburg slowly keeps moving forward. Trying to get tone thing done every night, well trying. The floats where sprayed a blue/black to start and then it was pointed out thees were covered in a tar so that was then changed with some black/brown highlighting. add worn black paint by showing the wood threw were the crew moved around on the floats. a black/brown oil wash filter has been applied and the clad aqua gloss to seal that before the next stage of weathering on them, salt

1/32 airfix ww1 b-type 'ole bill' bus. Been a long tough road with this kit, definitely gave my limited skills and patience a run for their money but finally got it ready for weathering. Primed in Ultimate black, base coated in vallejo english uniform and cleared with alclad aqua gloss. Thanks for looking, happy friday!

Good evening gentlefolks.
Here is a FSC Dujin 1/72 model of a Castel Mouboussin (sorry Dan) C25s glider. This is a deceptively simple fully resin kit but, like many of Jean Pierre Dujin’s creations, a challenge to get just right. The cockpit is more or less scratch built and enclosed in a crash molded canopy which is a serious challenge. The white is Tamiya rattle can Pure White and the red if Tamiya rattle can Brilliant Red, sprayed over a Tamiya white primer base. The detailed markings on the wings is not my doing but the result of an excellent decal sheet.

Just a little something to freak everybody out :eeek: :eeek: :eeek: I know its not my work but I spoke to Paul and he said it would be ok.
I cant tell you a lot about these as its something the wife is into [it may be her last] as she's moving more into crafting . The hair is individually rooted, and painted in genesis heat set paints. that's about all I can say on it as I don't have a clue the wife's the expert. There's a lot to be said about opening the oven and finding a head staring back at you. Its no wonder I have nightmares.

Congratulations Spook! :cheers2:

I've been slowly pottering away at this over the past few weeks...
Short Version: It's a tank Dan
Longer Version: It's Tamiya's 1/35 Tiger 1 ausf E Late. Being a Tamiya tank the build mainly consisted of me sitting at a desk watching it fall together, although I have added Tamiya's zimmerit stickers to feel like I was contributing. Primed in Ultimate black and then painted with Vallejo model air colours - all ready for dirtying up now.

1/32 Tamiya F-16CJ......... saga.....

Whilst waiting for bits to dry on the 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire Mk.IXc I started the oil weathering on the 16 using Abteilung 502 oils. One day later and I've had enough

Just to prove I've not been sitting twiddling my thumbs for weeks on end, here's where I'm at with my entry for Tomcat64's Tank Destroyer SIG. It's a Tamiya 1/35 Jagdpanther. Almost ready for primer, I just need to add some mesh over the engine vents first.

Hey Guys,

Finished my Thud the other day. The kit is Trumpeter 1/72 F-105G Wild Weasel with some aftermarket details (PE, metal pitot tube, resin air-scoops). Painted with Mr Hobby Aqueous paints and weathered with 502 Abteilung oils.
The build was really enjoyable, but I had one "YGBSM-moment" when I realised that there where no decal placement instructions for all the underwing stuff. :wtf:
I had look at the 1/32 scale kit instructions and improvise from there...:  :shifty:

Finally some real progress with the resin and photo etch DAF unit (Euro 6 conversion), this project has been a real pain, sapped my mojo, fought me all the way,and should have been finished weeks ago.
Poor fit between the resin and the donor kit ,Italeri donor parts cast in yellow and bleeding through the white topcoat (finally sprayed the whole cab in Ultimate black primer, then grey then white to finally achieve the finish I required.
The company who wrapped the truck refused to give us their artwork, despite the truck owners request (their intellectual property) so had to create them from actual truck photographs. (thanks Dogers Decals)
BUT we are on the last lap, trailer body needs primed and painted, all sub assemblies built and decals added, hope to get it off the bench by the end of the month
No more trucks for a month or two, going to build myself a model car next !
