Good evening happy modellers. I had hoped to have this one finished tonight, but it’s not quite there. It’s the Accurate Airliners full resin 1/144 Douglas DC-10-30 in the livery of Air New Zealand as it appeared when I flew in one of these to the United States for the first time in August 1974. The white is Tamiya TS-26 Pure White, the metallic finish it Tamiya TS-83 Metallic Silver, the corogard panels are Xtracolor Corogard and the grey is my own mix of Douglas Grey, all sprayed through my Badger airbrushes.

Hi all! I finally got myself on the forum! :thumb1:

This week I finished my 1/24 Tamiya Ford GT. It's a great kit that falls together and was a joy to build. It was great to be able to configure the car how I wanted it to look on the Ford website before I started as well. The car was built out of the box.

I used;
Ultimate Gelb Primer
Splash Liquid Red paint
Various Vallejo Metal Colors
Ultimate Black and Gloss Black for Black parts
Splash 2K for the clear
Ultimate decal solutions
Tamiya TS-14 for the wheels
Novus polish and Tamiya Wax
Ultimate Apex Used through out

Have a great show and a wonderful weekend all. :cheers2:

Happy Friday all,

This week I have been doing a 1/72 Dragon Neubau-Fahrzeug Nr.2 (Come on Dan, at least try)
Just painted and decals so far, wash on the tracks is still wet, then weathering & detail parts to add. Doing it in the Versuchsfahrzeuge, Norway 1940 scheme. ;) Dunkelgrau & dunkelbraun.

1/32 Kittyhawk OV-10A Bronco.

Forgot the nose weight - doh!!

Hacked and fettled  Main pic shows dry fit of the external wings/booms with home made internal support - probably the best fit so far (apart from the two box halves) :wall:

Kudos to the Ultimate Extra Strong Decal Solution for settling down the instrument decals on extremely lumpy panels

Thanks for looking.

Bit late to the party tonight but have been working on the bodyshell of my Tamiya 1/24 Aston Martin DBS. This was my first time using Zero paints and I need a little more practice with them as the results are not entirely consistent. Anyways this is Aston Martin Toro Red and I've used AK Intermediate Gauzy Agent to provide the gloss coat (another first go). Hopefully I'll be in a position to connect this to the chassis and have it all buttoned up next week.

This week Dan I have spent far too much time on a very large project.

The Hasegewe P-38 Lightning Egg Plane.

Ultimate Black primer

Cockpit - Model color 857 golden olive, 978 Dark yellow. Then Model color 994 Dark grey on the instrument panel with a dry brush of Deck grey 986 with some red and yellow.

Seat painted with model color 818 red leather and dry brushed with 941 Burnt Umber. Metal color steel on the harness and finally finished with some Tamiya black panel wash.

The main body is Metal color Silver.

Well that's it hope you enjoyed it.
