Hello I cant figure out how to get a photo from my phone album to this reply box. Any instructions would be nice. When I click on the picture icon above it just places what looks like a file extension in brackets and text.

First you need to upload them to a hosting site - Flickr or Imgur are both easy to use - I use Flickr via the mobile app. You can then integrate either of those sites to the forum using the instructions here: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25080

Hi Dan, this week I finished my 1/24 Tamiya Calsonic Skyline GT-R 2003 for the GT Race car buddy build. Its a fantastic kit by Tamiya that fits perfect and with Cartograf decals is a real joy. It was built out the box bar some PE belt buckles and red ribbon belts.

Ultimate White & Black primers
Decanted Tamiya TS-44 for the body
Decanted Tamiya TS-26 for the Wheels
Various AK Xtreme metal colours
Various Vallejo Model/Model Air Colours
Splash 2K
Ultimate Decal Solutions
PE belt buckles and red ribbon for the seatbelts
Novus polish and Tamiya Wax
Ultimate Apex used throughout.

As always, have a great show and a wonderful weekend everyone. :cheers2:

1/12 scale Trumpeter GT40 MkII
Work in progress and hours of trying to the rear engine cover panel to actually fit before I dare start priming, painting and construction.
Somewhere near now but still have sanding and trimming to go on the doors and bonnet.
An expensive kit but the quality really has no comparison to a Tamiya.

Not actually from this week, but I was away on holiday last week so couldn't post this. Its my finished Zvezda 1/35 Panzerjager and Miniart diorama. Over a year's work and my first attempt at a dio and figures - really pleased with the result!

Good evening happy modellers.

Today’s Airfix 1/144 Airbus A.300 is VH-TAA in the livery of Trans Australian Airways, circa 1972. The white is seven coats of various whites, concluding with Tamiya Pure White, the grey is my own Airbus Grey and there are several shades of Tamiya rattle can metallics including TS-83. The decals are by Hawkeye. Behind it is the next in the series which will appear as VH-TAA in Qantas colours, perhaps by this time next week.

I finished up my 1970 "classic" Airfix 1/72 Saab Draken this week. As mentioned last week the build did require a wee bit of filler, but the decals behaved well even when I managed to get one of the buggers folded up under itself. Upper surface camo paint was Hataka Orange line, everything else was Vallejo. Weathering was done with Mig's Star-Ship filth from an oil brusher and then worked back with brush and cotton buds dipped in odourless thinner. Final coat was AK Ultra Matte.

Hi guys,
coming to the end on this build, built with the beemax aftermarket kit and hobby designs set.
painted with zero paints and there 2k gloss coat.
Carbon fibre decals for the monocoque were from the beemax aftermarket set.
Bodywork was masked and painted instead of using the kit decals for the flo red colour.
Alcad paints were used for the metal parts.
After market decals for the cigarette logos.
Body stand was scratch built from evergreen rod

Nice kit and not to fiddly to build.
Just need to make the seatbelts and finish adding the exhausts to the engine, and a few More PE parts.
Might add some wires and pipes to the engine.

Enjoy the weekend everyone.

Well Mathew, it's great to see you back with minimal tan lines......

The week or so I have mainly been working on the 1/48 Hobbyboss WWII LCM 3 (Vehicle Landing craft) for a up coming D-Day Diorama for the #DDay75 build on the Model Officer Mess.

Tamiya extra was used in the appropriate manner with this and a simple cutting out of the door replaced with some plastic sheet. It also has been primed in Ultimate black Primer since this picture's was taken.

Merry modelling one and all.......
