hi fellas :hi:

bit of an update on this. turns out its a lot harder to come up with something when you just have a bunch of small parts!:

i do have an idea of a 'near future' space craft i'd like to build, but thats going to take some planning. i did manage to come up with something for now though.

may i introduce the Intergalactic Logistics Distribution Centre (space truckers, )

started with this big lump of orange plastic, i think it was a transit block from my new printer? but it just screamed 'space port' when i saw it.
added a few bits and bobs for interest.

Image

then i found half a cluster bomb, a b1 nozzle, and an f4 cockpit combing, to make the freighter. again adding detail where i could.

cargo containers were made from ceramic resistors from old boiler pcb's.

and this is what im thinking for a set up.

gave it all a coat of gray Ultimate primer.

next up was painting. i wanted to go with something with a bit of colour for the freighter, so i went with tamiya blue and revell yellow. then i added some decals from the spares box.
this is how it looks at the moment. gloss coated ready for wash, then i can start some weathering.

thanks for looking in guys! :cheers2:
