Cheap Paint Trays

Post by kiwigav »

Hi Team
I dont know if you have ever spotted these in the Supermarket but they make great paint trays!!
They are the plastic holders that roll on deodorant company's use,

just need to ask your local store and they will probally give them to you.

(thin plastic so acrylics only maybe!)

Mr Kipling makes exceedingly good cakes ... and the left over silver trays make good paint mixers too.

Use these little foil cups myself for paints .the plastic tray they sit in is also grand for vallejo and the like.just don't mix up an oil wash and leave it in the tray.it will eat away at the plastic and make an awful mess.
btw the shallower and wider jam tart type foil cups work best for me but both are good and free.

Cant think why but iv a hankering for a cup of tae .

I have been using the plastic lids from coffee cans and other items works great. My daughter works in a lab and has similar tube trays that work good too.

The best free paint pots are the plastic trays you get pills in

I use the lids from beer bottles! I only really brush paint small details so only use tiny amounts of paint.
I have a LOT of spare lids, lol!
