Getting ready for the 1/16 scale 1955 Chevy Bell Air convertible from AMT.
I using model master silver metallic and a model master orange. Leather color with tamiya flat blue for the interior and there's lots of dash decals for some really nice detail. Image

Hello everybody in ISM land 🙂
I am bashing away at a Revell 1/24 Williams Renault FW19 F1 car from 1997
Lots of modifications to detail this up a bit; cutting open some panel lines to separate the engine off the cowling for example
Kit decals are dodgy with wrinkles and tears, but I have the three Ultimate decal solutions to the rescue!

Happy Friday everyone :cheers2:

I called it done.
IJN Yamato in 1/700. Kit, PE and wooden deck made by Pit Road. It is a fantastic kit even without the upgrades. Highly recommended.

Happy Friday everyone!

I'm almost finished my build for Tomcat64's Tank Destroyer SIG. Here's my Tamiya 1/35 Jagdpanther. It's painted with Vallejo Model Color Dark Yellow and Tamiya Dark Green. Tracks (although you can't really see them in the photo) are Ultimate black primer with some Vallejo Flat Brown stippled on, then a 6B pencil rubbed across the raised detail for a metallic look.

Weathering so far has been a Mig Ammo tan filter and some Mig Ammo brown wash. More wash, streaking and chipping to do and then it's pretty much done.

Scaffolding off and winch on. Engine intake covers fettled and seams checked with paint touch up to the cockpit area following some 'modifications' Not one of my better efforts

Meng customer service got the replacement sprue frame for my 1/35 Jagdpanther over this week so I've finished the main build but mostly I've been building out the tracks. Each link has five parts including the pins to that's a total of 900 bits for the tracks which I understand is about 870 more parts than it takes to build a Fujimi Ferrari? This now needs a couple of minor gaps filled and then it'll be on with the Ultimate primer.

G’day. Happy modellers?

Tonight’s offering is yet another Airfix 1/144 Airbus A300 in my series of the five liveries of VH-TAA. This is the final version in which this airliner appeared with an Australian registration, with Qantas around 1995. The overall white is Tamiya Pure White, the red is Tamiya Italian Red, most of the metalics are Tamiya TS-83 and the grey is my own version of Airbus grey, all sprayed with my Badger Patriot and Extreme Patriot airbrushes. The decals are by Hawkeye and Liveries Unlimited. The white-back behind it will be VH-TAA in the livery of Australian Airlines, circa 1990.

Tamiya Leyton House.

I got this back on the bench from last year to try and finish it.

This week I’ve fitted the brakes and front suspension.
Added wires and plumbing.
Fitted the seat belts.

Hopefully I can get it finished this coming week.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Evening Mathew, the gang and all you lovelies around the globe,

Slow progress has been made with the Hobbyboss 1/48 LCM. Glossed in Winsor and Newton then a dot filter using Winsor and Newton water mixable oils or differing colours. Finally Winsor and Newton Matt applied.

Hope you like it, Tata !!

Hello chaps! Hope everyone is having a great Friday. I’ve been working on the masking for my 1/35 zvezda ferdinand commission build. Just a little but more masking to do on the barrel and then I’ll be spraying the green. Primed and painted in MMP, masked using 3M blue painters tape and a little bit of Humbrol maskol.
