Another favourite rally car, but this was a horrible build.
Lots of flash, hardly anything fitted, the decals were terrible and had to order replacements from Italeri....but it didnt turn out to bad in the end and its a nice edition to the collection.

Impressive - that's one cool Mk 2! I'd considered doing it but your experience suggests re-thinking. Great result though.

Nice work on this kit! I recently got one, and was put off by the poor quality of the molding, so I haven't yet started it. Hearing about the poor parts fit and bad decals doesn't make me any more eager to work on it-- i just finished wrestling with a really terrible Round2 reissue of an old AMT kit. Anyway, your build looks good! It pays to persevere.

Nice result, even though it's not the best kit. It's time the model companies gave us a proper Escort Mk2 kit, it's long overdue..
