I'll kick things off this week.

Here is my completed Tamiya 1/35 Jagdpanther for Tomcat64's tank destroyer GB. Painted using Vallejo Model Color and Tamiya acrylics, weathered using Mig Ammo filter, washes, and pigment.

Quite pleased with the result, but need to work on my photography skills!

Started my other swap meet find. The 1933 duesenberg roadster from Monogram in 1/25th scale. I am using tamiya racing green and maroon for the body. I'm also spraying all the chrome bits in gold to give this build a Arab royal family vibe. A car you would see in the garage of someone from the house of Saud.Image

1/32 Kittyhawk OV-10A Bronco - Finished

Glue: TET & MEK 50/50 mix
Filler: Perfect Plastic Putty
Resin Saws: JLC & Hobbycraft special
Sanders & Buffers: Ultimate
Primer: Ultimate Black
Paints: MRP Lacquers and Tamiya Acrylics
Clear Coat: Alclad Aqua Gloss
Wash: Ultimate Drk Dirt/Concrete mix
Thinners: Ultimate and MLT
Oils: Abteilung 502
Airbrushes: Apex (0.35mm needle) and PS-770 (0.18mm needle)

No need to read the above Dan - save on your internet mate

So it's done. Canopy glass took around 10 days to fettle and it's still hopeless - even had to leave a couple of supports off just to get it to reasonably fit. Finish is nowhere as good as the photography shows and most of the mistakes are on the other side.

Onwards and sideways. Thanks for looking.

Good evening happy modellers

Here is another not-quite-finished Airfix 1/144 Airbus A.300, this time in the livery of VH-TAA flying for Australian Airlines in 1990. The colours are as usual: Tamiya Pure White, Taimya TS-83 and Airbus grey, with the fuselage underside (which you can hardly see here) painted in Tamiya TS-15 Blue. The decals are by Hawkeye and Liveries Unlimited.

It is sitting on the box of what will be my final A.300, which only arrived today from ebay. It is the 1974 boxing with Eastern decals. The parts have been fondled by a previous owner but are all there, and I'm about to have my way with them. I don't think it will be nearing completion by next Friday.

Tamiya Leyton house.

Evening all.

I’ve finally finished this build which I started last year.
It was built using
Studio27 PE set and the carbon fibre set.
Top studio for the brakes, wires and pipes, engine supporting rods and the antenna.
Scratch built the front Bulkhead and added the brake and clutch bottles which I got from shapeways
Seatbelts were from T2m
Kit was painted with zero paints and zero 2k.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I have just completed the Tamiya 1/32 F4U-1D Corsair. Great kit and amazing fit - just like the Tamiya 1/48 F-14.

I used Tamiya paints and the aftermarket used comprised of HGW fabric belts, Barracuda resin wheels and cockpit stencil data decals. I used some wire to add some additional detail to the engine.

Here's where I am with the Merc W125 the radiator has been added along with the exhaust stack . Tried to hold back on the 2K to get a more polished metal look rather than the dive in deep look you can get with 2K . A couple of small decals to add but getting close to the final assembly now.
