Finally finished this kit, its not one of Tamiya's best kits showing its age now. But it is now finished, not a great finish but acceptable, would have loved to have shown the engine but the engine cover wouldn't stay shut so needed glueing shut lol and as parts started falling off I decided to call it done, I even forgot to paint the front side repeaters.

* Primed in Ultimate white primer
* Sprayed with Ts-26 white and Ts-16 Yellow
* Kit Cartograf decals went on no problem
* Cleared in Splash 2k
* Wheels sprayed in Tamiya TS-14
* Micromeshed with 12000 grit
* Polished with Novus polishes

Man!! Looks great (as usual) and love the display diorama in the first couple. Crisp and clean on this one, fantastic job! :thumb1: :thumb1:

[On a side note]

Hey Mr. Paul, I went back and looked through as many of your car/bike builds as I could, and I don't remember seeing one that you had done up with a weathered look...? Just wondering, have you done any like that? Like a rally car "after" a few stages, or a Group C after the 24hr of LeMans?? Your models are just art and would love to see one with your take on it of "being raced" built.

Anyhoo, just wondering. Keep'em coming, you inspire me sir - I just finished my Carlos Checa bike after seeing your Repsol Honda!! Thank you. :cheers2:

Hey Barry. Thanks I’m not keen on the weathered look. Having weathered armour and aircraft for years I’m enjoying the clean look

:thumb2: Got'ya!! And agree, I love the clean look of all your cars and bikes. Just every once in a while, I'll see a weathered WRC car or something on Pinterest, and think, "man, that looks real". But completely understand. Keep'em coming :banana:
