'clear' drying glue...

Post by MikeyKb »

Is there any special/suggestion glue to purchase when needing to seal two clear plastic pieces together? Will Tamiya Thin do, or should I get something else? I have a little trip planned to my LHS over lunch today...

Thanks!!

PVA does the job. There are some specific "clear" glues for such purposes. Revell and Humbrol do clear glues, and there are numerous people who swear by "Microscale Crystal Clear"

Dont use anything other than pva type glue as it'll fog the clear parts, i personally like Krystal Klear like gav said

Microscale Krystal Klear is fantastic but is basically PVA that you can get anywhere.
Same with most of the 'basing' glues sold for dioramas.
As mentioned keep well clear (pardon the pun) of normal plastic or ca\super glues
Stand aside caffine, this is a job for alcohol.
