My 1/35 Meng Jagdpanther is finally up on its tracks  Initial weathering has been done with abt. 502 oils followed by a liberal application of Mig Earth pigment powder - which means every surface in the den is now covered in a fine layer of the bloody stuff! The dust is being brought under control by light applications of AK pigment fixer. Some more weathering and a dio base to do and the end will be in sight.

Finished the Minicraft 1/16 scale 1955 Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing. Painted in Tamiya Coral Blue and used a hodgepodge of tamiya and testors brush paints for the interior and engine. The interior carpet is flocked. This is a great kit if you can find one. This kit is considered vintage but there is more recent examples in 1/24 and 1/16 scale from other companies.Image

1/32 Tamiya F-14A Tomcat - temporarily shelved cos I'm fed up filling & sanding
1/48 Trumpeter A-37 Dragonfly - awaiting resin seats cos I buggered up the kit ones

1/35 Academy AH-1z Sharkmouth - box opened and cockpit bits removed from sprue, trimmed, ejector pin marks filled then all sanded to perfection. Did I mention I was fed-up of sanding/filling?

Been working on my French B1bis this week .
I put on a primer, base coat, applied some black to create dark shading and a lighter off white to show some shine on the areas facing the sun.
Assembled the tracks, super easy on this kit.

Good evening, happy modellers!

When this is finished it will be another Airfix 1/144 Airbus A.300, this time looking like VH-TAA when it spent six months flying for Condor in Germany in 1984. The white is Tamiya Pure White and the yellow is TS-47 Chrome Yellow.

I’m now beginning to accumulate kits for a feast of A.320s in different liveries. Happy me!
