Too hot to spray?

First time with Tamiya Lacquers and Retarded Thinner. Had a nightmare, with paint drying on the nozzle, needle and colour cup.

In the UK today it is an unsual 29 degree. So is this too hot for spraying?

What was the humidity? That's more of a factor with paint than the temp.

A little bit too dry for spraying. I don't think you would want to run a humidifier at that kind of temperature, you'd end up with a humidex around 35 which would be very unpleasant. You could try a bit more thinner, or just spend the day at the beach waiting for better weather.

I think I have sussed it out. The Tamiya Thinner when poured into the plastic cup I used to mix paint and thinner, ate the plastic. Melted plastic was in the paint.

Yep that could be your problem the cheap cups are rubbish

Yep however if use the cups intended for laboratories or medicine cups they are generally ok.
