Good morning all

I'm always keeping my eyes open for a bargain or a deal.
I am a Facilities Manager at a couple of schools, and in one of the rooms is this unit.

Its a Bambi Silent Air Compressor 24Ltr. It's Oil lubricated.
Its been on site for years, and is regularly serviced (I have the service records and the Pressure Testing passes). It works, and from some exploration on web, it seems a decent bit of kit (£350 - £400).
The school has said it doesn't want it, and I have offered a nominal fee to Charity
Does anybody have a similar unit? If so what do you think of it?
I'd be very interested in any input.

From what I can gather it's a great bit of kit - a bit big but fairly quiet when working. I believe you need to keep an eye on the oil level but Paul had one and perhaps he can elaborate for you. Great find though

Once I have it in my pudgy hands and able to have a look closer, I'll post some updates.
From chatting to staff here at school, nobody can say what it was used for or even if it has been used. All I have on it, is Pressure Test results and year in, its been passing them and PAT Tests.
The outlet will need an adaptor for hose but think they are pretty easy to find online

send it over piece by piece in letter envelopes???

Had the same one for over 3 years now.......well worth every penny of the original RRP....

I've got the exact same one under my desk and it's great! get it ....
With the money you saved treat yourself to a remote pressure regulator on your desk, makes life super easy and quiet (at least a lot quieter than other piston driven ones).

Forgot to say check if the oil level is ok and get the oil with it if they have it, only needs to be done couple of times a year if that... If they have the oil that'll save £15 - £20. really good spares backup from Bambi as well.

Also relatively portable to take out and pump up the car tyres and dry off nooks and crannies after washing it, or if you have a DIY project it'll happily run a nail gun (which i think Aldi or Lidl might be selling this week?).

No I just check it every 6 months as per the instructions. Not needed a top up yet, had mine about 18 months...
It does use some oil but so far not enough to get near the refill point.
