This is a Tamiya Mitsubishi GTO, (or the 3000gt VR-4 here in the States) 1/24 scale.

The kit is built pretty much box stock with the exception of lowering, adding Aoshima Advan GT wheels, and adding a resin Front Mount Intercooler.

Paint is ScaleFinishes Fiji Blue (OEM Color) Clear coat is Tamiya TS-13, and the wheels are finished in Dupli-color wheel paint, bronze color.

Thanks for looking!

Love the color and the car!! That was my favorite car in the original Gran Turismo.
The wheels make it too!

Quick question for you: how did you lower it?? I'm working on an Integra Type R and would like to do the same thing but make it look right. You know, like it's not rocking back and forth on 3 wheels like that crappy table at a Truck-Stop diner.

Thanks!

The rear was simple on this kit. I just mounted the chassis right over top of the notches on the body, but the front I actually had to cut some smaller sections out of the struts and sand down the other pieces of suspension and chassis to get the lowered stance I liked.

Appreciate the reply... so just trial and fit?? Sounds good. :thumb1:
