Revell 1969 Chevrolet COPO Nova

This was my first super detailed build ever after a long break from the hobby (about 15 years.)

The kit is a Revell 1:25 scale 1969 Chevrolet COPO Nova.

Paint is ScaleFinishes OEM GM Green Mist Metallic cleared with ScaleFinishes Super-Clear clearcoat (to replicate the 60s-70s not so shiny finish.)

The front end has been lowered, and it has a set of MA's Resin Drag radials stuffed out back for that aggressive sleeper-ish look

It is fully plumbed and wired, the interior has black embossing powder, scratch made seat belts (before I found The Model Car Garage GM photo etch ones ) all chrome was stripped and painted with Spaz Stix Chrome, all emblems used are The Model Car Garage Photo Etch set.

Thank you very much! I used Spaz Stix Mirror Chrome. Just like Alclad, it has to be sprayed over a perfectly smooth gloss black base, with a very light coat or 2. The Spaz Stix in my opinion looks better than Alclad Chrome after having used both.

ok thanks, im new and have only tried Acrylicos Vallejo Metal Color - Chrome over black gloss primer, it came out ok.. but think yours might be better.. or its maybe just due to my inexperience.

Thank you sir. I've lways wanted a 69-72 with a big block in it. The small block would be nice, but the cool factor for the big block would be better, lol.

I do understand the allure of a big block. I had an LS6 454 in my 70 Vette . That was a stump puller
