The AFV Club 1/35 Achilles has had its final assembly after the weathering I used several washes for this, grease and grime, rust, burnt umber, red earth and black panel line wash.

The final assembly has had the crew hatches added along with the shells to the rear turret and the tracks fitted. The baggage will be next to be added and then its crew painting and preparing the base.

HAPPY Friday Guys !!!

Work on the Fujimi Honda Integra...

Have got all the components and body painted. Still need to strip the chrome off the wheels and paint.
Body primed in Tamiya Fine White, painted with TS-76 Mica Silver, and cleared with TS-65 Pearl Clear.
Body came out nice for rattle can job (airbrush will be here today!!!)

It's been a while since I've posted something here, but this week I've more or less finished the PE cockpit for my 1/48 Mirage Models Lublin R.XIII Ter.

It's a rare subject so there's a severe lack of references online, so I've gone with Vallejo Metal Color dull aluminium throughout, with some Vallejo flat brown for the seat backs. I'll have a go at fashioning some seatbelts out of masking tape I think, though I have no idea what sort of seatbelts it would have had so it'll be guesswork again.

Good evening happy modellers

Here is the completed Revell 1/144 Airbus A.319 in the livery of Sky Traders. The main colours are Tamiya TS-26 Pure White, TS-12 Orange, TS-83 Metallic Silver and my own Airbus Grey, all over Tamiya white and grey primers, decanted and sprayed through Badger Partriot and Xtreme Patriot airbrushes. The decals come from the spares box.

This is the aeroplane that makes flights down to the Australian base in Antarctica every summer where it lands on an ice and snow runway. I have celebrated this with a diorama (my first in some decades) made courtesy of Ms F-27pax’s linen cupboard. Wish me luck.

This week not much, but I have done the cockpit on the Zvezda 1/48 Yak-130 "Mitten" and dry fitting it in the nose section. So far the fit on this has been great and no issues.

I've been working on Tamiya's Leopard 2A6 that I started to build during last week's live show.
I added weld seams and replaced the molded on handles with brass wire. The side skirts have been shortened. Probably not very accurate, but I think it looks cool.
I also shortened the axles of the idlers and some of the roadwheels so I can slip the wheels under the permanently fixed skirts after painting.
The build is currently on hold as I'm waiting for some aftermarket goodies that I ordered from Leopard Club.
