Squadron white putty by a country mile. Then perfect plastic putty followed by Vallejo and for fine work mr Surfacer 500...

this is a hard question to answer...

it all comes to to Personal experience and of course... how much you will eventually spend to find the
one you truly like for the results you are after !

No filler is the best answer !
or should I say... Styrene is the best filler !

but that again ... You can't always shove in sliver of styrene in any cracks and crevices !
I try at times to enlarge the small gaps or holes to enable me to shove in with plenty of thin Tamiya cement
in the hole and after complete cure... a little sanding and NOTHING... pure smoothness ! and no shrinking !
since its all Styrene !!!

other times...
I use Tamiya Grey putty with Tamiya Lacquer Thinner to get the best smooth finish as possible !
and Mr. Dissolver putty ! for those pesky Ejector Pin Marks ! we all hate so much !

I find !!! Squadron Green putty dries too quickly and brittle ! and it keeps on shrinking for a long time !

Thats a matter of taste i think, i work with Revell Plasto, Milliput and Magic Sculpt and like them all. It depends on the purpose, not every filler is good for everything.

I onlyonly have the revell plasto but I haven't needed it yet. .... But then again I'm working on my 6th build ever so my days will come

Another vote from me on the Perfect Plastic Putty. Dries quickly and does shrink to much, also can be cleaned up with water.

Yet another vote for Perfect Plastic Putty, easy to apply, smooth out with a damp cotton bud, dries quickly and sands easily.

Have recently tried the Vallejo filler and combine the ease of application with the narrow tip, great filling, minimal shrinkage, easy cleanup and smooth finish it is now my filler of choice for small holes and seams.

Larger gaps will still get the tried and tested tamiya putty as squadron/perfect etc are harder to get here.
