I always liked the Chieftain ,it looks right and was a great tank for its time. you can still see its influence on modern tanks too. Nice work and top finish

A quick blast from the past on these beasts - on one of the big 2 week NATO exercises in Germany in the 70's a column of Cheiftains were moving at night and had to pass through a small North German village - cobbled type streets with a more or less 90 deg bend in the centre of the village. Almost inveitably the third vehicle took the bend just a tad too fast and ended up wedged between two homes. REME decided there was no way they could get a direct pull on it sideways to free it so the Burgomeister was dragged out of bed and asked which of the two houses was coming down... Cue in-fighting between the occupants as to who got the honour - because any property damaged was repaired or replaced by the Fegeral German Gov't so who ever won got a new house out of it..... It was a crazy world in those days!!
