RFM tiger 1 . I wanted to get an almost worn off look for the winter camo but may have been too subtle as the pictures dont show it so well. The wash is quite consistent over the whole hull but the pictures dont show that. As a kit its great, builds nicely and you dont have to use the clear parts as solid alternatives are provided in the kit.

Good evening happy modellers.

Here again is the 1/72 resin FSC Dujin Mudry CAP 232. It only needs a little touching up here and there and it will be ready for decaling. It was primed with Tamiya rattle can primer and the finish includes Tamiya TS-76 Mica Silver, TS-8 Italian Red and TS-19 Black.

Painted with Tamiya Acrylics (need to up that game...)
through the Iwata Eclipse AB
Semi-gloss clear

First time using the AB setup and had a blast - learned a LOT from the guru's here at ISM, so THANKS guys (you know who you are )
Pretty happy with the results, need to work on some stuff, for sure, but overall pretty excited with the new toy.

I am working on the Cobra still...1/24 AMT glue bombed rebuild.
She is up on her wheels at last and painted Blue but not yet cleared.
Lots of scratch work left to get her all together and replace all the missing bits

I finished my Zinoviy Kolobanov KV-1
Kit was easy as pie, as all Tamiya kits are
-primed in Badger Stynylrez
-painted with Vallejo Model Air Russian 4BO green
-Cleared with Mig Lucky Matte Varnish
-weathered with Mig enamal washes, pigments, a lead pencil, and chips made with Vallejo Black brown.

Working on the MFH 1/12 McLaren MP4-4 right now, engine assembled and painted now doing the inner cockpit. Zero carbon grey and kevlar yellow paint used and then the carbon decals were added. Rivets and other detail also added along with the seat belts. Still loads to do but I really am enjoying this build.

Hi Dan, this week I finally finished my 1/24 Tamiya Toyota GR Supra.

A fantastic kit as you'd expect from Tamiya.

Various Ultimate primers, Gelb for the body.
Zero paints Supra Wasabi Concept Green.
Tamiya LP paints used throughout.
Pro Range 2K.
Chrome parts stripped and repainted gunmetal.
Zero textured paints for some of the interior.
Micro mesh, Novus polish and Tamiya Wax.
Ultimate Apex with both the 0.2 and 0.35 needle sets.

Hi this week I finishe the second hasegowa kit this time the Honda 500

Tamika paints on this one and a clear coat

I had yet another disaster with the Tamiya AMG GT3. I painted it with Tamiya X-1 through my Apex, than tried to apply a laquer clear coat using a Duplicolor rattle can. I used this on airliner models before with good results, but this time it attacked the underlying coats. It even melted the surface of the body (only the black parts, the grey bumper emaind intact for some reason). The body had a quick bath in 98% IPA and I sanded most of the primer back. The surface is still not perfect in places but hopefully the upciming primer coats will level it out. I probably should have binned the model after I ruined the bumper but I won't let it beat me.
I'll probably save the CVSTOS decals and the wheels for another kit and build this one with aftermarket decals.
