Hi all,

Alongside my Bf109 F-4, and a whole host of railway modelling, I've been very, very slowly working on this - Tamiya's KV-1.

I'm not usually an armour modeller and this has taken a long time to get to this point, and I'm not looking forward to assembling the tracks!

I've started painting it, but only in patches - mainly to avoid those tracks!

Tracks aren't so bad once you accept it and once you get started it all falls into place.

I'm building a 1/35 scale T-50 at the moment, the individual links are tiny (more like a Tiger in 1/72). They had 4 attachment points each AND seperate guide horns that had to be glued on, so I feel your pain.

But as Digger says, tracks aren't that bad, you just need to crack on with with them. After a while you get into a rhythm and they go quite quickly.
