This is a Miniart 1/35 Kolibri 282 V6 on a shipboard platform tied down, because it is a tail sitter more than anything.
I created some issues however it came together in the end not perfect, but finished.

Plugging away at Zvezda's 1/144 scale Tupolev Tu-160 "BlackJack" bomber.
A nice kit to build but I have a fundamental issue at the moment - primed the wings with Tamiya grey, painted one face with Humbrol 22 Gloss White - and it looked awful. Tried to over spray with Tamiya Gloss White acrylic - and it's reacted VERY badly. I need to find a way to remove the paint and the usual method recommended in this forum of soaking in Dettol is currently a non-starter due to short supply!!

Good evening isolated modellers
This evening here is a freshly completed 1/144 Revell Airbus A.320 in the current livery of Air New Zealand. Many and various paints were used, the main ones being Tamiya TS-26 Pure White, TS-14 Black, TS-83 Metallic Silver and my local automotive paint shop’s Airbus Grey. The livery are a mixture of Oldmodels, 8S and Ric Warcup decals. There’s plenty more where this one came from and now that I’ve got nowhere else to be …

It's been a while since I've joined in with this, for a variety of reasons, but here is what I've been working on. It's an Airfix Chinook HC.1 in Operation Granby special forces camouflage, which I've been working on for the forum Hovering SIG (doubt I'll get if finished in 4 days). The base colour is Xtracrylix Desert Pink, and the camouflage is brush-painted Tamiya XF-1. Still to assemble the rotors, paint the black underside, add the wheels, a few decals, matt varnish and weathering.

IBG Models PZL P.11c Polish fighter 1/32

This is the latest kit from IBG the detail on the wings and fuselage is outstanding so much so it pops even more when paint is applied. The build is along the lines of a wingnut wings kit and the cockpit is just as detailed as the aircraft surfaces. Paint used was the dedicated set for this aircraft from Hataka's new lacquer range.

Went together well and overall a nice kit.

Howdy all!

This week I've been sanding and filling a Pig Models 1/1 scale 8,8cm Pzgr.39 (APCBC) L/56. Also known as the cannon shell the Tiger I fired. Should be a good conversation piece when it's all painted up.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful week in isolation and not feeling too lonely.

Cheers!
