Goodsmile Racing 2015 Super GT Merc

[Hawkmoon]

Started another Goodsmile this is the 2015 Super GT version. Didnt take any sprue pics just cracked on with the build the floor pan has been made up as has the cockpit both were sprayed with semi gloss black. Work has started on the upper body adding parts and the clean up. Once done the base coat will go on and the decal fest starts

The body has been assembled as per the instructions as has the rear spoiler, after a good clean and seam removal both have had a couple of coats of primer. More clean up tomorrow then several coats of white base to go on.

Nice job on the decaling Andy. They're sitting down so well they look like they're painted on - should look fab under a bit of 2k clearcoat.

This is looking great, Hawk, just like the other Goodsmile Racing kits you've done. I like'em so much I went to hiroboy to see about getting one and not only are hiroboy closed (for Covid-19) but they're out of stock on all the kits and decal sets.

Will have to live vicariously through your build! Keep up the great work!

Have you thought about buying direct from some of the Japanese warehouse sites like Plaza Japan they usually have a few goodsmiles in stock.
