Hello All

Post by psmithmags »

Hello. I am a normally a reader of posts rather than a poster. I am from the NE of England and have just (re) gained an interest in this hobby and I can't believe how much it has advanced since my first kits, about 30+ years ago. Thanks to watching your videos and reading your fantastic tips (from all members of the forum) I hope to advance from the Brut 33 kind of painting technique (i.e. splash it all over - older members will remember the advert) to a more authentic kind of painting. Hopefully my questions will not too much of a hindrance, as I fear there might be quite a few!
Keep up the good work all!
Paul
Thanks

Ask away , don't feel embarrassed. We are all still learning, particularly me... :D If someone can help they will answer, we are a friendly irreverent lot. Just watch out for the Canadians.... They will have you building cars quick as a flash
Listen and appear wise

Cheers for that lads, I'm learning already.1- Ask away and help will be available if possible. 2-Most importantly, Canadians=corruption into cars.
At present I'm mainly into Second World War aircraft (who else doesn't start there?) and also historical pieces, such as H.M.S.Victory, H.M.S.Bounty etc.
Thanks
Paul S.
