Having a bit of a set-back with the Tu-160. I used Maskol to mask the cockpit windows prior to painting - and it looks like on the smaller ones the maskol had rubbed off prior to the paint going on. Teach me to check in future. I think I am going to have to break out the tooth paste and start polishing.
And then the gloss white is a b*tch for revealing things the primer hid - like unwanted gaps. How I missed some of these is unbelievable...

Takom 1/35 'Berlin Brigade' Chieftain Mk 10

Nice kit to build with no major problems, the tracks are cut off the sprue and supplied in a bag in the kit. There not working tracks just glue together. The mask set took a while to get here from down under but was a great help. Paint was a Smart Set from MIG with the four colors for the tank.

Academy 1/35 AH-1Z - finished (finally). Primed with Ultimate grey with MRP topcoats and touches of Tamiya LP's, all covered in Dullcote. Kit decals, Abteilung 502 oils and Tamiya panel line wash for weathering and quite a lot of off-air swearing

    Thanks for looking.

    Good evening happy modellers

Tonight here is the generic Minicraft 1/144 Douglas DC-8 converted to a Delta Air Lines DC-8-10 with the shortened fuselage, Braz Models JT4A engines and Vintage Flyer Decals. The model was primed in Tamiya White and Grey rattle can primers and painted in Tamiya TS-83 Metallic Silver and TS-26 Pure White using Badger Patriot and Xtreme Patriot airbrushes

PS. The Fokker 70 I showed last week did not survive its surgery, mainly due to my inability to measure lengths properly, and met its fate in my rubbish bin.

Evenin' young Dan. I got some bench time today and moved my 1/72 Hasegawa MV22 Osprey along again. Paint is Vallejo model air via an Apex, panel lines are a combo of black clay wash and Tamiya panel liner and final coat is AK Ultra Matte. I've got some tidying up to do and then add the wheels & antennae and it'll be done hopefully later this weekend. Stay well folks.

    Cheers, Neil

    On the Bench:
Revell 1/72 Millennium Falcon - stalled due to stupidity
    Tamiya 1/35 Stegosaurus Stenops
    Tamiya 1/35 Sherman Firefly VC
