Global Scale Modeller

Hey ppl,

In case you haven't read my introduction, I suffer from a condition called Essential Tremor. This can make modelling very difficult from time to time. Something that would help me is finding ways to keep the model in place when I do things to it. I already use a blue-tack like stuff to hold a pilot when painting etc. But when applying decals, for example, I'd like to find a way to hold the model in place securely without damaging the paint job so I can concentrate on the decals. But also holding it when painting or sticking small things to it.

Any advice or help would be great!

What genre of model kit do you normally like to build ?

At the moment I'm building ww1 and ww2 planes. I'm working on the decals for a 1/72 airfix Eindecker. But I pretty much want to build anything up to the cold war stuff. Including one or two ships, tanks and sci-fi stuff. No cars or very modern planes though.

Other foam or knitting needles can be substituted


Not my pic...I like armor mostly although WW1 aircraft are going to find there way in.
