has anyone else experienced a "WTF??" moment when looking for something only to find an unfinished kit hiding away gathering dust - lots of dust???
I got bored today as the Tu-160 is upstairs having been given a gloss coat so I decided to clear up a stack of computer cables that has been bugging me for a while.
Lo and behold - hidden behind them and THICKLY coated is dust were a part finished Italeri BMP-1 (or Czech OT-90) and a barely started Italeri DUKW!! I think I've cleaned most of the dust off them so the issue of what to build once the Blackjack is declared done is solved...

Having washed the dust off I think I remember why I set the BMP aside - the way Italeri made the track links means you only have to tap the hull gently and you get 90 track links laying on the table under it. On each side. I foresee a spell with the TET brush in the immediate future as I reckon it will be best to finish the BMP/OT off first.

Modelling life surely gets interesting - attack helicopters one month, Mach 2+ nuclear bomber the next then feet firmly on the ground with 1/35 armour....

You could blame the dog for taking stuff when you went looking...but it's really evil cats that do it.

LOL I've occasionally found missing bits long after I've given up on them but I don't think I've ever unearthed whole kits before!

No cats - not even the neighbours - we have an ex-racing Greyhound!! Dopey as hell but with a tendency to view anything smaller than her and furry all over (thats an important bit!!) as prey... So these days anything 4-legged and furry gives our property a wide berth......
Stupid thing is - having caught/cornered anything she doesn't know what to do with it so she just walks away.... in her world view food comes out of packets/cans inside her safe place..

I found a pre-cut mask set for my Panigale the other day. Wasn't even looking for it, I didn't remember buying it!

Mine isn't precut. I do like the nice sharp lines of a die-cut versus my hacking away with a blade.

Your correct and all I saw was the mask set didnt look too closely at it and I also prefere the pre-cut variety.
