Scratch-built wasteland cruiser

Not sure if I have my terminology correct, as this build uses one or two leftover parts from several different kits, as well as several purely scratch-built assemblies and found items, so I'm calling it scratch-built rather than kit-bashed. Anyway, I call it a wasteland cruiser:







The body is from an AMT Willys gasser kit, and the front fenders are the bed sides from an AMT '55 Chevy Cameo. The rear wheels came from a Hot Wheels Monster Jam toy, and the skull was taken from a plastic Halloween shot glass. The horns on the skull are the cut-outs I had to do on the rear fenders for wheel clearance. The chassis and working rear suspension were scratch-built from styrene, brass, and springs.







The device immediately behind the skull was inspired by the hedgehog, used for anti-submarine warfare. It's meant to pneumatically launch Molotov cocktails to the side of the cruiser, one row at a time. The box on the roof is meant to be a rear-view periscope. In the trunk, a 55 gal. drum has been repurposed as a fuel tank, which supplies both the cruiser's engine and the rear-facing flamethrower, also housed in the trunk.
