Looks like I'm first... oooh errr.....

Moebius Models 1/4105 Battlestar Pegasus.

Part way through the build. Primary hull and main engines are done. Flight decks are a work in progress still..
Hull and main assemblies are painted in Humbrol #53 Gunmetal. First coat applied by brush, second coat blown over by airbrush as part of the learning curve. I used the paint straight from the bottle, no thinners at 25 psi. Seems to have worked OK. Next step is to complete the flight decks and attach them then add the red makings as per the painting guide/

I've started painting up my 1/35 Wasp Flamethrower jeep from Meng. Ultimate black primer followed by different shades of Vallejo model air to try and vary the olive drabs where possible.

I have just uploaded a Beginners' Guide to Model Cars on Youtube using this 1/43 Subaru Impreza 2000 by Heller.
Bodywork is in Craig & Rose metallic dark blue from Homebase.


Hopefully my video can help and inspire some aspiring modellers.

Hello everyone!

The SHAR is finally finished - Yay!

It's the Kinetic 1/48 Sea Harrier FA.2 with Eduard "Big Ed" set, 3d printed parts and some scratchbuilding/detailing.


Painted with Gunze Mr Hobby Aqueous paints and GX-100, GX-113 clearcoats. Weathering with oils and Tamiya enamel washes.

Magnifier Ford GT-40 is complete.

Kit itself is good over all but pre-fitting all parts would be a recommendation. I used the KA Models upgrade set too which did make a difference to some of the parts provided in the kit . Paints used:- Zero Jet black, Tamiya LP's used on the interior, hood area and engine bay.

Final 2K coat:- Zero Diamond Finish.

Good evening possibly happy modellers

It's up to you to decide whether this is four separate models or one model in four parts. It comprises four Zvezda 1/144 Airbus A.320s in four different Jetstar liveries. The main colour is Tamiya rattle can Mica Silver with MRP International Orange. The decals come mainly from Hawkeye with some additions from 8S and Oldmodels.

Continued with my resurrected Tamiya 1/24 Mitsubishi GTO this week deciding in the end to completely strip the shell rather than try and patch in the front wing. Had I remembered not to spray MRP 2k directly on LP11 silver I probably wouldn't have had to strip it twice in a week. However with a barrier of LP9 clear and a less hot 2k the shell is drying and looks OK so on to the interior.
Really impressed with this old kit, excellent detail considering it can be bought for under £15!

Been working on the 1/20 Tamiya McLaren MP4/4!

Using the Top Studio super detail set and lots of scratch building. I've got the skeleton done and the front discs. The difference between the kit part and the detail set is night and day! Tried to imitate the bronzey carbon fiber colour with Alclad polished brass and Tamiya smoke. Just need a flat clear and it should look okay!

Howdy All!

Work continues on the Snowspeeder. Got the decals on, then on to weathering. Used the new Ultimate setting solution and I love it.
