Italeri Lancia Delta HF Integrale Group A 1990 - 1/24 scale

So I had been wanting to build this for a long time - I've been a fan of this car ever since I first played SEGA Rally!


I have done an unboxing of it, for anyone who is interested, here -



The instructions themselves are strange - I don't think they intend you to paint much of the model such as the body which is already molded in white plastic.

The dash is really simple - it just looks like the standard car dashboard .

The decals are going on now. This kit was reboxed with new decals in 2018 so they are very crisp!
Just needs a little microsol for the 80s right angles on the body.

Second part of my build is now up on YouTube. The decals are really good quality!

So the kit came without brakes. Or suspension for that matter.
Anyway, the only spares in my parts bin are too large but these discs came with the Tamiya rally mechanics.

Does anyone have any tips for making calipers? Cheers!

A little tip. Don't close this before adding the rear view mirror.

The decals are pretty good but I think I need to do a road car next time! So many decals!

Yeah, it was pretty cool. I tagged him in the photos but considering how many other racing drivers I have done that to and never had any response, this was nice.

I just put the Lancia together in a rally diorama of sorts.
