How can you Remove Stickers (not decals) from plastic?

I recently bought 2 used or returned Radio-Controlled vessels on Ebay from Hobby Tron (Heng Tai) as display models for a grand total of $40 each. The ships I’m aware of are listed below -there may be more than these or future additions.

HT-2878F “Challenger Aircraft Carrier Battleship” (1/350 Kiev Class Aircraft Carrier)
HT-2879A “Smasher Destroyer” (1/200 Sovremenny Class DDG)
HT-3826A Missouri/Kiev Hybrid FANTASY SHIP
HT-3827A Bismarck (1/360 Bismack)
HT-3831 ???
HT-3833B USS Wasp Amphibious Assault Ship (1/350 LHD-1 USS Wasp Amphibious Assault Ship)

Though not super detailed and NOT for rivet counters, the two I bought - the 1/350 Kiev Class Aircraft Carrier “Challenger Aircraft Carrier Battleship” & 1/200 Sovremenny DDG “Smasher Destroyer” - are good representations of these ships with a nice presence (due to their 30” size) and solid heft for a reasonable price. With a nice paint job I think these can become decent if not great representations of these ships. Unfortunately, they come festooned with “Stickers” which I’d like to remove from the hard plastic. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON HOW TO REMOVE TOUGH STICKERS WITHOUT SCRATCHING THE SURFACE?

Steam them off? Put the object above a boiled kettle, the steam gets under the stickers and then you can peel them off. Worked for me. Just keep the water away from any electrics, obviously.

HT-3831 looks like a Type 054A "Jiangkai II" frigate. It's a Chinese built ship.

Re the stickers made of vinyl or paper?

I'd trying heating it a bit with a blow dryer or heat gun (careful not to melt the plastic) and use a plastic putty knife to lift it off.

Try Goo Gone. It's a product designed to dissolve sticky adhesives, and it can be purchased in a package with a sticker-lifter tool:

Great stuff for getting rid of the adhesive. A sharp knife might be required to separate the layers of the stickers ( Shiny surface ) after that the paper will absorb whatever you chuck at it.
