Meng 1/35 Wasp Flamethrower Jeep

Post by Tomcat64 »

Here are the reveal photos for my recently completed Meng 1/35 Wasp Flamethrower Jeep as prototyped and then abandoned by Popski's Private Army in Italy.

This was a really enjoyable build and the log is here if you'd like to see how it came together. The figures are a mix of Miniart (British Jeep crew) and Masterbox (British AFV crew) with some repositioning and mixing & matching of heads.

Great finish, particularly like the burnt bonnet, fuel spillage, hose clips, overall weathering and the worn edges applied to the wooden box....nice touches to a good build

This little Jeep knew so much variants, this one is without a doubt the most bizarre and the most deadly (for the enemies who met her and for the crew!). Very nice work on this amazing kit! :thumb2: :thumb2: :thumb2:
