I am glad that you like some of my builds of the of the past I thought that you might like to see this image of the Jaguar race car which I took at the local Jaguar dealership, I sent a copy of the photo to the man himself Tom Walkinshaw and he autographed the photo for me. I wish I had taken a great many more photos of the car it would have been good help with your build. The photo was taken back in 1990 ( I told you I was old ).

Oh wow! Outstanding! Thank you! πŸ‘ I've not seen as much of the later model in all purple. I think Martin Brundle won Le Mans in this one maybe?

I'd really like Jaguar to have another go at endurance racing some time but I can't see it happening unless it is electric. They are a big player in Formula E after all.

Your welcome Thomas,
before I got side tracked by sci fi I was always a HUGE fan of formula one and sports cars, Lotus 49 and Porsche 917 and Ford gt 40 being my top three cars, though the Lotus 56 turbine has to be the slickest design ever for a racing car and that colour brilliant. I also amassed a large collection of racing driver autographs during the 1990s I have around 800 from all forms of motor sport and about ten f1 champions including Senna Fangio and Schumacher. I will post a few if you want let me know your favorite car or driver and I will see what I can do.
regards Barrie ( the old motor sport fan )
