scratch build of Stephensons planet steam engine

Hi every one,I think this is the right page to put this build, anyway it is here now. I wanted to do something of the beaten track so to speak, so I went for an old steam engine and this is what I have so far, it is all hand made from sheet plastic and a little help from old kit spure rods. I have enjoyed the build so far but now is fast approaching the time I do not like when paint is required. I like painting but it never seems to look any where near as good as many of you seem to do with out any problems guess I will have to practise more.Please let me know what you think.

Thanks for the great comments everyone, I just hope that my paint job will do the model justice, as I say I love to build I just wish that I could paint or find some one close who could do the paint job for me.

This model will look spectacular when painted. Will a tender be following?
I particularly like the way the wheels were fabricated to fit the spokes.
