Evenin' young Dan.

I finally got time to get back to my 1/35 Bronco Comet this week for the Late War GB.

The main build is just about completed and has been given a coat of Ultimate Black primer followed by some green from Vallejo. Tyres are picked out in NATO black with tracks in Burnt Iron.

There was a bit of a discussion around the resin wheels last time so just to clear that up the kit comes with a late-war idler (resin) and a post-war idler (plastic) and the bundle I bought included the resin late-war wheels & rollers from Accurate Armour.

Good evening, Dan!

I am nearing the end of my Beetle Build -here's the progress I have made on the Tamiya Beetle 1966 and the Revell Beetle Cabriolet 1970 (both 1/24). Both are painted with Wilko (yes, that's right, Wilko) enamel spray paint. The orange Tamiya has aluminium tape for the chrome trim whilst the Revell uses the kit decals. They are both quality kits but I think I maybe prefer the Revell as it has far more options.
As always, videos can be found on Building on a Budget YouTube page.

Cheers!

Evening gents!!

Have made a start on the decal process... sheesh - if you want your practice at laying down the decals, this kit is for you. If you suck at decals, you will be a pro by the time your done with this one. If I remember correctly, there are 42 decals on the body so far, and still have the other side to go. plus all the "race sponsor" decals...

I just ordered the Ultimate decal setting solution because I'm having to use 3-4 coats of the Micro-sol and the hair dryer with every coat... it's working, but have torn a couple decals as the hair dryer makes them brittle after so much heat. Getting better though! :thumb1:

Overall this is a great kit and looking forward to finishing it up here in the next week or two (yes, I'm slow)

Have a great weekend fellow sprue-nippers. :hi:

Good evening

I've just took these pictures from my workshop, the tyres aren't glued yet, some little details (headlights) are missing but it's very close to painting :

Hello and good evening!

After at least 15 years of brake I restarted my Tamiya Ferrari F1-2000 ...
Tamiya TS-49 over white primer - Gravity 2k-clearcoat will follow
Today I applied the first decals including tabacco-decals from BBR - went down nice
A lot more cars and bikes (all MotoGP bikes of Tamiya  will follow)
Have a nice show!
