I'll hop on the band wagon!

I'm really liking these threads, so I thought I'd throw one up as well.

I didn't complete any build for over a year due a some work obligations and being gone on work trips. However, I jumped back on the horse with a $14 M41 Walker Bulldog from Tamiya. It had a few challenges, mainly that the paint I used (MMP) didn't behave like Tamiya or other paints I'm used to. It orginally made me a bit disappointed; but, I think no one identified the mistakes I thought I made. Goes to say, if you build armor and mess up, throw some mud on it and it's good!

The M41 turned out really well!

Next was a Panzer III I started in 2018. The unfinished kit looked sad, so after the sacrificial M41 I finished it up.

Next was an 88mm tank shell. One of the few kits I bought and built within a month of knowing it existed. I had some issues with it; but, it's always a conversation piece to those who see it.

Then the egg built came around. I Love these and really like putting them together!

Well, the Summer Sci Fi came around! I think I made around 5-6 model for this. It really reignited my mojo!

One of my favorite builds ever, the Sabine Wren TIE Fighter!

A few more Sci Fi builds

I eventually got back into airplanes with the Spiteful. Cheap kit that I won on a raffle. Not to bad; but, not very detailed.

Another Sci Fi build!

After the 88mm, I had to get the T-34 tank shell.

Finally, one of the worst kits I've finished. I think it came out alright, just had I lot of headaches with it. However, I am proud of the finished product.

I'd say that overall for the year, I got my photography to a better baseline than it had been. I have to thank Jeff Bartelt and his book Scale Model Art. It's a great textbook. I highly recommend it to everyone that likes taking pics of their models.

To be honest my model making hobby worked well for the last year and I love it. However, I did take up (or revisit) some old hobbies that don't apply to this board. So that took some time away, though I'm loving it.

I did get a 1/72 Yamato turret for Christmas and I'm super exited to build it up! Plus a few gadgets for my camera stuff. Looks like 2021 will be a great year!

Very nice set of models completed for the year! My favorite is Sabine's TIE fighter as well.
