I've been told there's no such thing as a stupid question SO , Took modelling up last year during lockdown
And I'm hooked ! I was modelling away in the kitchen which ( obviously ) had water and waste on hand.
I am now in the process of remodelling a loft room into a Man Cave but have no access to running Water so how do other members who have the same problem get by ?

I walk around the corner and use the bathroom next room over
For paintbrushes and airbrush cleaning, I have different lab spray bottles with distilled water, Airbrush cleaner and Isopropyl alcohol


As well as a paint discard pot for the airbrush.


So really not too many trips up and around the corner, other than to go pee

Good supply of paper towel products...anything you can minimize the trips back and forth from the kitchen really.
Plastic pipettes for paint mixing and plastic medicine cups...both amazon and cheap

do you have a spray booth yet??
That is the next big spendy plunge into modelling, but it is a safety issue for your lungs as well as it keeps the smells from the rest of the house

I don't really use much water until it comes to detail painting with a brush, at which point I just bring a glass of water through from the kitchen for cleaning the brushes in. If you buy Ultimate airbrush cleaner it comes in a really handy bottle with a spout, perfect for squirting straight into the airbrush, then pour out the waste into any suitable pot that you have nearby. I use plastic shot glasses for stuff like that - I bought a pack of 20 from Poundland.

I have a handy squeeze bottle,paper towels and of course a rubbish bin.

Don't throw those bottles away they are so good. I would almost buy the product again just to get another of those bottles.

Glass jars are also good for storing any kind of goods. Like pipets, brushes, sanding sticks etc.

Thanks for the advice Guys will have to visit Amazon ! Yeh spray booth would be nice but still have to paint floor and build a work bench
in loft room so it may a purchase later on in the year.

I find my water use is minimal. A pot every now and then for brush cleaning and decals, sourced from the bathroom which is about 12 feet from my den. No worries.
