Revell 1:72 (04312)
A German flying wing design from the Horten brothers, unlike many Luft’46 aircraft this one actually flew and one is in storage at the Smithsonian in the USA.
It also featured in a programme called “Hitler’s stealth fighter” which is available to watch on you Tube by following this Link
A few things surprise me about the plane, it was primarily constructed of wood, it’s certainly a larger plane than I anticipated, but the size of the mainwheel is what really strikes me and the front U/C door must have had some strange affects on landing an unstable design at low speed at landing.
Another fine fitting kit and again used colours from a fictitious RLM’46 pallet.
