DBMiller's Not Now, John

Post by DBMiller »

I don't really have an "out of comfort zone" - just subjects I like and those I don't like as well.
The most "uncomfortable" subjects for me - aside from natural metal planes, because :eeek: - I guess are cars.
Like natural metal they require a bit more patience than I tend to give the painting surfaces of my builds. But, still, I buy them occasionally.
These three have a reason for being in my stash.
The Nomad because my wife likes it; the Honda because it looks like a spy car and I love cold war spy stories (true and fiction); and the Trabant because a character in a book series I like drove one.

I’ve gone for the Trabant, although they all look equally grim
Its been tried and tested, it works! So don't blame the system if you're no good.

I went for the Nomad since it looks to have the size and handling of a small tugboat... although I guess the Trabant could double up as an anchor

    I suck.

I do have a boat or three. I want to get to my 1/180 scale USS Lionfish (with aftermarket bits!) - but a boat? I don't know. Who builds boats?
