Tamiya ultra thin & EMA PLASTIC WELD

hi
Just watched Paul's Tamiya Ford Mustang GT4 build & he stated he uses Tamiya ultra thin & ema plastic weld mix ..
Anyone know the mix ratio at all ?

Its a 50/50 mix

Why do you need to mix the 2 cements ?

Ah good to know. Hard to get here would Delux materials "plastic magic " be a suitable substitute.

Not heard of mixing liquid cements before. Have used EMA Plastic Weld for many years as it is designed to work on plastics other than styrene that I use as well as ABS and Acrylics like Perspex and Lexan. I tend to use just the EMA and Revell Contacta as my go to cements. I have heard that De Luxe Materials Plastic Magic is very good although I have not tried it yet.
Their Perfect Plastic Putty is very good. I also use their Rapid Epoxy as the adhesive and hardener come in separate plastic phials giving good control when dispensing. There are of course many different adhesives and fillers etc out there, and we all get on with some rather than others, so it really always comes down to what works best for each individual.
