Oh well - some one has to be first, might as well be me.

First to be declared finished this week is the Zvezda offering of the ZSU-23/4 "Shilka". This may very well be a re-box of another manufacturers kit as it did not go together as well as other Zvezda kits have done.
Built more or less out of the box - the only additions are metal gun barrels on the 4 cannon and Friul metal tracks.
Painted with Vallejo AV colours and finished with Ultimate's "Sand" wash and Humbrol acrylic silk varnish. Tracks were done in Ultimate's Burnishing Fluid. Cleaning and drilling the track links was a pain in the butt - but worth it as they sit just right on the drive sprockets, road wheels and idler.

Finish and markings are of a vehicle of the Soviet 40th Army based at Alikheil, Afghanistan in the summer of 1987.

This is the True Details 1:10 Martin Baker Mk.7 Ejection seat. The Mk.7 was used in several fighter aircraft, most notably the F4 Phantom and F14 Tomcat.

I primed the seat with gray Stynylrez and brush-painted the color elements with Vallejo Model Color. The metal colors are either Mr. Metal Color or Molotow Chrome. I used Citadel Necron Compound for the dry-brushing. I sealed in the paintwork with Alclad Aquagloss and used Tamiya panel liners for edge accents. The yellow striping on the ejection handles and seat release handle were done with Aizu tape. The final clear coat is Testors Dullcote. Overall, this was a joy to build and paint. The only hiccup was losing the ejection handles which was remedied by my Peopoly Resin 3D printer (and a bit of trial and error). Enjoy!

Hi Dan, last week I finished my 1/24 Fujimi Mercedes SLS AMG GT3 with SK decals team Erebus livery. The kit was built out the box bar the decals, some PE bonnet catches from Profil24 and the seatbelts. It's a great kit and the decals where great bar the chrome ones, which in hindsight I should have painted on. I 2k cleared the whole car then masked the chrome decals and then Matt cleared with Tamiya LP-23 to give the desired finish. Have a great show everyone, I'll watch on catch up when I get home from work

Second project finished before I have to return to work tomorrow - Zvezda's 1942 T-34/76
Model was Primed with Ultimate Grey Acrylic primer then finished with Vallejo's 4BO Russian Green System and weathered with Ultimates "Mud" wash. The plastic tracks in the kit were replaced with Friul Metal links and, like on the Shilka, were worth the effort as they sit just right. Ultimates Burnishing Fluid was used to weather the tracks
VMS "Smart Mud" is used for the base which was an offcut from an ages ago home DIY project - first time of trying my hand at a diorama of any kind.....

1/24 Audi Quattro. Base kit is the Italeri 1981 World Rally car, but built as a custom street racer for a “disguised race car” group build. Exterior mods are: Ronal alloys by Reji; alterations to the front lights and surrounding bodywork to improve the accuracy of the front end; added steel exhaust tips, photo-etch grill badge & door locks, plus a scratch-built CB antenna. Colour is Tamiya light gun metal.

Good evening agreeable modellers

This evening, two Zvezda 1/144 Airbus A320s, both made at the same time. They are both VH-VNB, flying for Tiger Airways in 2009 and TigerAir in 2016. The main colour is Tamiya Pure white and my own concoction for Airbus grey with decals by Underworld and Ric Warcup.
