Good evening everyone. With just two days before deadline I can't leave the forum blank, so I present my recently completed 1/35 Street Corner diorama base (the Steam Car is only shown for illustration - I built that last year).

Diorama Debris 1/35 silicon moulds were used to cast the masonry parts with cement dye added to the plaster to colour them, so what you see is more or less how they come out the moulds with just a minimal amount of post weathering used.
The drains and manhole are too delicate to cast in plaster so I used SLA resin, the fence is 0.8mm jewellers wire linked with styrene strip, the brick mortar is aluminium oxide, the tree is natural sea foam and the base is cherry wood.

This was a test piece to teach me how to use the moulds and assemble the parts. I found the whole process very enjoyable including laying down all those individual cobblestones which proved to be very cathartic.

Happy Friday everyone in ISM land. Fun little one this week
Fujimi Q Series egg car for Forum Easter egg build we run every Easter
This is a Ferrari F1 87 V6 done as #28 Berger...as #27 should only be Villeneuve
Primed ultimate white and Painted in Splash Repsol red with splash 2k clear overtop. The black is ultimate gloss black primer
Brass roll cage made and mesh added for the radiators and screens in the side pods
Kit’s front tires were too small in diameter for the wheels so were splitting open. I had to grind the internal rubber to fit better. Messy!
Have a great weekend

Good Evening All

Finished this Revell 1/24 Jaguar E type this morning. A nice kit in the main with some of the best detailed decals I have used so far including branding for the fan belt and radiator hose! The only negatives for me are the clear parts which could be better and the chrome sprue which (apart from the wheels) I stripped and repainted with Alclad 2. Built mainly out of the box but I did add plug leads and a proper mesh grill (more photos on the forum).
Bodywork painted in a blend of LP 61 metallic grey and Mr Color Super fine silver finished with GX 100 which I thought would be more appropriate than 2k. Interior is Zero Ferrari leather Bordeaux.

Thanks for looking.
