How to glue 1/72 figures on painted boat deck?

Just about finished with 1/72 PT-109 but now I want to securely glue crew figures on painted deck. Any suggestions for long term security?

Hi Rob, Since you're gluing onto paint you'd probably need to use either CA or PVA glues.

For real security drill up through the heels into the figure legs and insert a piece of wire into the lower part of the legs. Drill corresponding matching holes in the deck of the model to take the wires already in the figure legs. Put the tiniest amount of adhesive on the leg wires and carefully insert into the the matching deck holes.
