Heng Long Radio Controlled Tanks can be found on Ebay for excellent prices. If you are not interested in Radio Control you can get even better deals for "Static" display models. A FEW OF THEIR EARLIER MODELS ARE NOT THE BEST QUALITY (THEIR HYBRID PANTHER-TIGER “Heng Long Panther 3819-1” SHOULD BE AVOIDED BY ANY SERIOUS SCALE MODLER), HOWEVER MANY OF THEIR LATER MODELS ARE GOOD TO EXCELLENT. If you are more interested in painting your vehicles (They already come painted but you can repaint them to your taste) than building them (You must snap on accessories like machine guns, spare track links etc.) -these are a great deal. One good plus for these toy/kits is they match up with 120mm scale figures perfectly. When looking there are many 120mm WW2 resin figures with great detail that are made for this scale (tankers and infantry along for the ride).

Other after market companies like ROL Models specialize in 1/16 detail items (numerous P.E., Ammo Cans, Linked Ammo, Turret Guns, Tarps, field packs, Helmets, German and American MTOE, Fuel and Water Cans, Ration boxes, etc.).

I bought the Heng Long Tiger 1 many years ago and there is a lot of work to do and some extra purchases to make it realistic, the most important (but not the only one) is to reverse the mantlet of the turret. But it's still a good kit and ... YOU CAN CONTROL A TIGER!!!!

Heng Long rectified many of the problems with the Tiger I
