New Member Say Hello

Hi All.
Thought I'd say a quick hello, I've recently got back into modelling after a 50+ year lay-off (yup I'm officially an old git!) And boy, have things changed in the world of modelling
I'm mainly interested in monster/super hero/sci-fi/figure building and have been lucky enough to build up a small stash of interesting kits and have bought a few supplies including an Apex airbrush from Ultimate Modelling.
I'm not the most frequent forum visitor but thought it would be nice to be part of the community and pick up tips etc. and hopefully contribute from time to time.

We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We're also running a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.

Otherwise take a look around and join in, and if you have any questions feel free to ask.
