Hello to all

Hello everyone, I am returning after 40 years away from the hobby. So much has changed! Extra thin cement and parts that actually fit together is something my adolescent dreams were made of. Until it turned to girls and I thus drifted away, but I digress. I recently started an Airfix A-4 kit to be my test mule to begin working with some of the new tools and awaken some lost skills. Also bought an airbrush which is an advantage of doing this at this stage of my life...
Anyhow, I'm looking forward to following along and contributing here, and hopefully at some point, I can return the favor and help some others as well. Thanks for having me.

For posting photos we encourage a third party host like Flickr…loading into the forum crashes the system as not designed for that

We'd love to see your work & progress but as twokidsnosleep mentioned in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

There is a quick guide on how to use the Flickr integration on the forum ---> here

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We're also running a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.
