Revell 1/24 Mclaren 570s

[WordenB]

Somehow recently I ended up with 2 Revell car kits on the bench at the same time. Nothing against Revell in fact I find their newer kits very good but they do seem to demand a little more work and care to reach a level that would be the norm from the likes of Tamiya. Maybe that's a good thing, I do find it very rewarding to finish one and certainly feel as if I've had my money's worth!
Anyway here is the first one, completed although I think I shall end up glueing the doors shut in order to get a better fit. Completed pretty much out of the box although I did replace the supplied carbon decals with a Tamiya alternative. The body colour is Zero Ventura Orange which contains a really fine gold flake and is my new favourite!

Very nice build. I can see the sparkles in some of the pictures. It looks great!
