Stug III 40 Ausf. G 1/72

Hey guys,

This is my first finished from zero to paint and weathered tank. It's a 1/72 Stug III from Revell.

Waiting for your reviews and advises for improvements for the next build

@ukscalemodeller: you did a good job on yours. How did you do the tracks sagging. If I would have tried on mine the tracks would have been too short.

I just bent the top section gently and realized it would still fit on. It made me a big fan of Revell's 1/72 AFVs

That is a well done little piece Chris.
That weathering is really well done. Great work with the mud!!!

If I had anything to offer as advice it would be to use a very very small brush for chipping on that scale.
A chip 3mm wide at 72nd scale is something like a 15 cms at 1:1.
As Shepard Paine once said... and it's annoying that he said it..."No chip is too small"
It means more work but the guy was right.

What did you mean by "not realistic, rustic"? I'm not keen to make super realistic midels but I'm curious of what that means (rustic).

Not realistic? (I mean historical colours 1943-1944 in Deutsche Panzer Waffe ) for Sturmgeszhutz StuG 40 G - You know that , bat Skat: " I'm not keen to make super realistic models" > You right Skat ... @AchtungPanzer: Hey man, no problem at all I was just curious. I must play for a while with coloring before I can try something that was for real I love the WW2 AFVs too.
