Global Scale Modeller

Hey there!

I'm pretty new to modelling, and found this community, thought it would be nice to join!

I don't have a lot of experience with modelling, besides if you count the kit I had when I was little, which ofcourse did not look great, just a mess of glue... And now I thought, it would be nice to finally actually start making some nice models for once!

Oh and also, I live in the Caribbean, on Bonaire! small little island, very hard to get stuff shipped here

I'm mainly interested in aviation related 1:48 models, either from the WW2 era to around the end of the Cold War (1940s to around 1990)

New or old to modeling it doesn't matter. Questions just post them up if you can't find a answer and we will do our best.
As for living in the Caribbean maybe Amazon will get their drone service working then it'll be bombs away.

We'd love to see your work & progress but in order to post photos you will need to host them on an external site such as Flickr and then link to them from the forum. Unfortunately the forum currently doesn't have sufficient capacity or bandwidth to host directly uploaded photos.

As well as the forum boards there is a really useful Modeller Toolkit available which can help with paint matching, paint thinning, glue types & a scale calculator that can be found ---> here

We also run a number of group builds & special interest groups through the year so feel free to enter any of those that you like the look of.
