Blue Nose Mustang

Hi this my build on John C.Meyer's mustang that I always wanted to build
Boxart
Build up so far done it in 3 hours wow
Seatbelts are made from masking tape but I've done a little to big o well will try again next time
Now with all glued up will assemble the remaining bits then its painting time yay!!

I highly recommend the Alclads II Aluminum paint. You really can't beat the stuff.

I have this in my small stash of kits also.
Afraid to touch it tho due to the need of metal paints.

Looks like a nice kit, tempted to get one for the stash, never tried to paint large areas of metal though.

I will be using gunze h 11 for the metal body as my country dont have alcad

I've painted the interior colours and now need to mask the canopies

UPDATE!!
I've just painted up the mustang and it was shiny!!
Here's the pic before painting
Masking up the wheels with humbrol maskol good stuff
Finally here is the final product next will be painting the blue nose. BTW I broke the piece that hold the prop but manage to glue it back with super glue my bad

Thanks DC87 anyway I've painted the blue nose and this is the first time I mix to the correct amount and its beautiful I'll post some pics with some more bits to build

The Tamiya Mustang in 1/48 is a brilliant kit!!

You sure have a treat there.. looking forward to seeing the finished model!!
