Good Evening All

Finished this Tamiya 1/24 Skyline GT-R Gr A today. It was an original 1990 kit with Calsonic decals that were beyond rescue and as such replaced with the SK Decals Castrol livery which appealed and was available. I didn't find this kit to be one of Tamiya's best, understandable as it's over 30 years old, but still very buildable even if it comes with a bit of a squashed A pillar as mine did.

I used mainly LP paints including LP9 clear, the wheels were stripped and done with Super Metallic 204 stainless. I found the decals very good and easy to use although rather than the 8 supplied to wrap the spoiler I managed to mix some paint and spray it instead. The moulded in seatbelts were removed and replaced with Eduard 6 point, other than that it's straight out of the dusty old box.

Thanks for looking.

Quite a while since I've posted anything for the live show.

This week I finished this 1/35 AFV Club Scimitar, in UN markings from the Bosnian War. I built this as part of the "Not the Usual Conflicts" GB.
